These pumps are designed to push precise doses of calcium, liquid fish food, water, or any other liquid substance directly to your tank. Unlike other dosing systems on the market, the DOS features industrial-grade stepper motors on its pumps. Unlike a brushed motor, these motors last longer and provide improved accuracy when dosing & the option for variable speeds. Compression fittings on the tubing attachments also help prevent air in the line for optimal performance. Replacing the DOS pumps requires no annoying lubrication or small parts - simply install a new pump head and snap it on for 6 to 7 hundred more hours of pump life. The highlight of the DOS system though is the APEX Fusion software control. Simple software allows you to input the amount of mL over time, and the dashboard figures it out for you. THAT simple.
